Foster Kitten Stories
I am trying to figure out what is more of a full-time job: running this store or caring for neonatal kittens. I foster with a Texas shelter and have raised hundreds of kittens. It is such a joy to watch sometimes days-old, sick kittens grow into strong and healthy cats, even more so when they get adopted to their forever homes.
Purchasing from me not only helps me, but it also helps me keep fostering kittens. Your support is crucial in this mission. If I did not offer my time and home, then a litter of kittens or a singleton baby would have to be raised in a metal box. Shelters are overcapacity, and having another outlet for them to be since will increase their chances of being adopted out, making more room for other kittens to be rescued.
The busiest time is spring and summer, also known as kitten season. Kittens arrive in droves at shelters, and it is up to fosters to take them in. If you work from home or are retired, visit your local animal rescues. They could always use more fosters.
